Native American Pueblo Pictorial Drum

About the Item

Native American Pueblo Indian pictorial drum of cottonwood log with rawhide. One side having horse and rider hunting buffalo with teepees in the background. The reverse with a Native female carrying a child in a cradleboard. Unusual as has four handles, two on each end with some string. May have been held horizontally. Beautifully made drum with excellent art and craftsmanship. Would display nicely in a Southwestern home or indigenous artifact collection. Size: 15"D x 24"H.
