Wanbli Hito, also known as Roan Eagle, was a Lakota artist whose work holds deep cultural significance. The waŋblí (eagle) is a powerful symbol for the Lakota people. It represents strength, bravery, and holiness. Among all birds, the eagle is considered the strongest and bravest. Native Americans have chosen the eagle and its feathers to symbolize what is highest and most sacred.
