Early 20th Century Folk Art Ship Diorama

About the Item

Folk art diorama of a ship being towed by a tug boat. At the bottom of the diorama is a representation of the shore with buildings and a lighthouse. The glass is earlier wavy glass and the back appears to be one solid wide board. The outside below edge under the rope was decorated with cut out and painted chipboard. That has deteriorated and much of it is missing. There is a small crack on the left side of the glass.
