An unusual pair of late 19th Century English folk art painted natural wooden form figures. We have lovely called them “Mr & Mrs Stump”. Hand painted detail with a natural worn surface and mounted to bespoke turned wooden base. Brilliant objects in our humble opinion….

Condition: Aged
Aged wear and tear across all the surfaces due to obvious use over the years. Areas of worn surface include loss of painted detail as shown in the photos provided. With a lovely natural deep patina across all surfaces. Natural aged wooden cracks across the surfaces also. Firm in form and in one piece.
