About the Item

This lovely " Grandfather" clock has retained it's original painted finish. The face is in good condition, so is the case. The clock mechanism is not in working order at this time, however it could be repaired with some ease, or so I was told. We are not sure that all elements are there, please purchase this clock " as is". The weights are part of the clock.

This is a English Antique Georgian bowfront cabinet, which has fixed shelfes inside and a locking door. The Chinoiserie decoration or Japanning as it is known in Europe, is beautifully decorated with Figures, Birds, Rocks and Tree's, and a Pagoda in the background.
