Federal Grain Painted and Stenciled Document Box 19th Century American
About the Item
A spectacular and fine, dovetailed poplar, rosewood grain painted and ebonized document box. The gold stenciling is of a very fine quality. Retains the original fire gilded steel bails and finish. A fine federal form. New York circa 1815.
