Australian Aboriginal Art Leanna Wanjidari Reid Signed Black Marlin Triptych

A wonderful, beautifully composed, gorgeously colored, quite engaging very large triptych screenprint titled "Black Marlin" by indigenous Australian Aboriginal artist Leanna Wanjidari (which translates as "white flower") Reid who was born in Woorabinda Mission in Queensland in 1966. This piece is from the famed Kelton Foundation Collection of important Australian Indigenous Works of Art and has been widely exhibited. Provenance: Helen Loveridge, Outback Alive, Kuranda, Queensland Awake to the Dreamtime: Australian Aboriginal Art, San Diego Museum of Man, San Diego, CA, 19 February - 24 May 1993 'The Evolving Dreamtime: Contemporary Art by Indigenous Australians-Part I', Pacific Asia Museum, Pasadena, CA, 3 August 1994 - 22 January 1995 Leanne Wanjidari Reid has exhibited extensively throughout Australia (Queensland, Canberra, Melbourne...) and abroad. Some exhibitions include: The Upstairs Gallery, Cairns; Ben Grady Gallery, Canberra; Wavana Art Exhibition, Brisbane; Queensland Aboriginal Creations, Brisbane; GWW Gallery, Palm Springs USA; Hamburg Art Fair, Germany; The Gould Gallery, Melbourne; Contemporary Australian Visions, Melbourne; Burwill Gallery, Brisbane; Emerald Hill Gallery, Melbourne; Trilogy, Brisbane. The painting is made with natural earth pigments on eucalyptus bark and affixed to a Hessian board backing for display. It was created in Oenpelli, Western Arnhem Land, in 1977.
