Stars Quilt in Garden Maze
About the Item
Vibrant and unusual combination of a Garden Maze quilt pattern with LeMoyne Stars. In addition, Stars around the maze make a lively design with their in and out placement. The zig zag border is the final touch to make this an ideal composition. The white areas are well quilted with feathers. The quilt is in excellent condition with a few inconsequential smudges on an edge. The red fabric is the same throughout with tiny black oak leaves. Measurements are 91" x 96'. Made circa 1860s.
