Straight Furrows Log Cabin

About the Item

This traditional Straight Furrows Log Cabin is done with the tiniest of strips. Each log measures appproximately 3/8" in width. With very careful examination, one can find no more than a handful of strips with weakness but one must really search. The colors are soft and beautifully combined. Measurements are 64" x 76". Pennsylvania origin; made 1880's.

This Light and Dark Log Cabin quilt has more depth than the usual version of this pattern. The blocks are outlined with both red and indigo creating a frame around each of the diamond shape blocks.
