Black Forest Carving "The Hunter" Attributed to Johann Huggler

About the Item

The Hunter attributed to the Huggler's (1834-1912) Of Brienz - a small town in Bernese Oberland, Canton Bern Switzerland. A carving of a huntsman holding a cock pheasant. This appears, though unsigned, the work of one of the Huggler Brothers. Came from an old Belgium collection with a piece attributed to Johann Huggler and is of the same period. Great match to inventory #AF1059 Light colored and very detailed. Not easy to find!
