About the Item
Very large vintage hand-carved wood block used for printing on fabric or paper to make wall coverings or cloth. The modern geometric chiseled design would be repeated side by side to create uniformity or mixed with other stamps/patterns.
Unfortunately, no information is available on maker or precise age.
In original unrestored vintage condition. Handmade with layers of solid wood fitted together. Cracks to the surface as shown in photos. Has been fitted with a wire on the back for hanging on the wall.
