About the Item
A large one-of-a-kind European antique hand carved polychrome painted silver-gilt religious altar niche with beautifully aged warm distressed patina.
Born in Continental Europe around the turn of the late 19th / early 20th century, rustic hand-crafted solid pine wood construction, Gothic Revival architectural church steeple pointed arch facade with cross finial, original glazed glass panels, removable back accesses divided three interior sections, rectangular plinth base, rising on turned feet.
