Late 19th century match pair of mahogany armorial carved shields We are proud to offer a rare and highly decorative matched pair of hand carved mahogany late 19th century armorial wall shields. Recently obtained from a Regency house auction in the South of England earlier this month. A piece of interior and decorative quality, and rare as a matched pair. Size in inches approximate: H 15” x W 12” x D 1” Condition: These items are completely solid in structure and form, wear across surface and aged patina is present due to age and use, light chips and fading across both shields as shown in the photos provided. It’s strongly suggested to review all the photos provided carefully.
