A turned lemon squeezer, crafted off a single block of Lignum Vitae wood, from the Carter Burden Jr. personal collection.
Carter Burden Jr., (1941-1996), New York famous philanthropist, politician and socialite, gathered many exquisite decorative objects during his lifetime. In 2003, his personal collection was auctioned at Sotheby's.
This lemon squeezer was purchased at that auction, along with other treen articles.
