This stunning set of two sculptures is carefully handcrafted using two pieces of oak trunks that had been used to dye tapestries in the 1930s. Silent witnesses of artisan traditions here reinterpreted in a purely decorative version, the pieces of wood are accented with an elegant black dye that matches the oxide finish characterizing the pin iron bases.
