About the Item
Fabulous hand carved ash tray stand by master carver Paul Emile Caron. Totally hand carved with a figure with axe at the base chopping at the tree trunk. Tree base sits on a plinth base, carved and supports the handled ash tray. A specifically made ceramic ash tray receptacle sits in a perfectly carved area and is snuggly tight. In amazing excellent vintage condition with minimal wear. This is a 1960s period made piece, as his name was bought out sometime in the seventies and became machine made. This was owned by the original purchaser for over 50 years. Never used as an ashtray either.
