Oak Splint Sphere
About the Item
A wildly sculptural sphere made from oak splints used for making baskets. Acquired from a woman who made baskets, the splints have been woven into a sphere, possibly for storage purposes, but possibly on purpose to create a sculpture. Your guess is as good as ours. A smaller version is also available.
