About the Item

"Wallace" Skating at the Park - Fine craft raw wood sculpture with a painted finish highlighted with India ink - made from a solid pine branch with nodules realistically painted to resemble an animated rabbit decked out in a knit cap with ball to the top, a red scarf knotted at the neck, a blue knit cardigan over a plaid shirt, and 'Osh Gosh' blue jeans with woven leather belt, a bunch of carrots and Bauer ice skates are suspended from his front paws - signed and titled on the base (Just for Fun '97- artist unknown) - Canada - circa 1997. Excellent vintage condition - all original - no loss - no damage - no restoration - minor signs of age and use. Size/Dimensions - Medium - 11" (28 cm.) High x 3 1/4" (8.3 cm.) x 2 1/4" (5.7 cm.).
