Blue and Red Enamel Barbers Pole Shop Sign

Rare porcelain enamel barbers pole shop sign.
This is a very rare old sign, it is American in origin, we have the red and blue stripes wrapped around a White background, and at the top white stars on a Blue background, the motif at the top says MODERN SERVICE this is one of the earliest signs of this type.
The sign is Half round and can be wall hung on the still remaining brackets, it is made in ceramic enamel and has a few rust areas but still sound and very unusual a rare piece and well worth adding to any collection or it would be authentic decoration in any design especially a Barbers Shop
The sign is 49” high and 10” wide, and the half moon shape is 3.5 inches out from the wall when hung
