About the Item

Rare antique copper and brass English pub trade sign crown, circa 1920. This lot is a completely original and unique antique circa 1920 handmade old pub crown trade sign. This is a very unique and special item due to its size and one off craftsmanship. The item is in one solid piece and would have originally hung outside an old English pub to advertise its name (The Crown). The Crown is a complete one off and highly decorative item. The crown is made from both a brass top section and copper main frame outer section, this is supported with an old stable cast iron central cross section frame. The item obviously shows age as its spent most of its life outside, it’s therefore strongly suggested to review all the photos provided as part of this advert before a purchase is made. Additionally to this we suggested getting in touch with us to propose questions relating to the condition in detail. This item would make a real show stopped as a table with a sheet of circular glass over its tip. A really unique, original, decorative, rare and collectable trade sign currently in our store. Condition: The items are completely structurally secure and has no moving parts, the item does show wear and tear due to its age and being kept outside in the form of scratches, fading and loss of paint, rust on the hanging hooks as shown in the photos provided a some light cracks to the outer crown section however the item is completely secure in form and not loose in anyway.
