Gazelle Bicycles Glass Advertising Sign
About the Item
Old glass advertising sign for Gazelle Bicycles, a bicycle factory in the Netherlands since 1892. This Art Deco publicity sign is made of glass - advertising behind glass.
Beautifull green with black design, golden lettering with in the middle a bicycle wheel where you see a gazelle animal which is the logo of the brand. View also the details: the bicycle spokes, band valve etc .. Around a transparent border and stamped under H.G.R.F.
It has also a great form with the 8 corners - octagonal.
The original suspension is still on but we would advice to replace it or to straighten it with an extra one.
This old sign dates somewhere between 1930 and 1950.
For the age still in very beautiful condition with minor traces on the glass.
