Large Industrial Illuminating Letter "R" Sign, USA circa 1950
About the Item
Large industrial illuminating electric letter ‘R’ sign from a Northwestern United States Emergency Room. 2 feet wide and 2.5 feet tall. Letter 'E' also available in a separate listing. Sticker on the bottom reads ‘Underwriters’ Laboratories, inc’ - Listed - Electric Sign - No H 573441’ which is in the early font used by Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc circa 1950. Single cable to US plug allows the sign to be illuminated. Two brackets on either side enable the sign to be mounted flush to the wall. Would add a great industrial touch to any restaurant, bar or home. Massive scale and presence.
