Cast Iron Toy Fire Pumper Truck by Hubley, ca. 1920's All Original Paint

About the Item

This rather large fire truck was done at the height of the production of cast iron toys, 1920's. Having iron wheels as opposed to rubber, which does often melt, and rich original bright red paint. As anyone will tell you when collecting American cast iron toys, "Paint is the name of the game". We try to buy the best condition and we use a black light to make sure there is no repaint, which does devalue it. You have to make small allowances on condition when realizing that these are toys and were meant to be played with. Look this truck over, the paint is in remarkable condition, A great toy to add to a collection, or start one.
