Their heads made from carved pine, porcelain arms and papier Mache bodies. One still retains its original clothing, A truly charming example and rare to be in such good condition. Of museum quality in our humble opinion. Size in inches: H 12” x W 5” x D 2” Units: 2 Period: Early 19th Century Material: Wood, papier Mache, fabric, and porcelain. Origin: French Condition: Aged Completely solid in structure and form, Natural patination across all surfaces due to age and obvious use, with loss to surface detail on both examples. No breaks or losses however weathered in all the right places. They do not stand alone. work as shown to one side.
