Scratch built train steam engine with trailer dated, circa 1945 We are proud to offer a folk-art English scratch built tin and wood steam train and trailer model. A wonderfully aged example in its true form, rare as these examples were usually made in only wood cast iron metal and not tin due to its fragile nature. The carriage may have originally had a wooden platform of base to carry items on, this its no longer present. A wonderful decorative and very nostalgic object as shown in the photos provided. Dimensions in inches: H 7” x W 4 x D 27” Age 1945 Origin: England Condition: These items are completely solid in structure and form, an aged patination across the surface and light loss of paint due to usage and age. Its strongly suggested to view all photos as part of this advert and propose questions before a purchase is made to avoid disappointment.
