African door in carved wood and bronze of chief Baboun, Cameroon, early 20th century Art Baboun, Cameroon, early 20th century. Unique and rare object. Carved and pierced from a single piece of wood by a Baboun artist for a tribal chief. Carved in the center of 3 village scenes: women cooking, partying and antelope hunting. Bronze elements representing characters and spirits. In very good condition. Dimensions: height 170cm width 61 cm depth 10 cm Weight: 40 kgs
