This beautiful mid-twentieth century figurative sculpture depicts a mother, crowned with a sweeping double-parted coiffure, holding her child at her side. Multiple strands of glass blue and red beads adorn the neck and midriff of the mother, and over time, the surface of the figure has developed a beautiful worn patina.
