An elegant and harmonic set. A pair of old and finely crafted geometric flutes from the Mossi people, Burkina Faso, Africa, early 20th century. With stacked geometric shapes, this pair of end-blown flutes make a simple elegant statement. Wear and polish from use. These date from early 20th century. Based separately on custom metal bases, the larger flute is 6 1/4 inches high, based 7 1/4 inches.
