We have to expose this unique lighting drafted by the best German craftspeople of the 30s against the background of restorated and reconstructed sculptures for the BERLINER SCHLOSS in original (1:1) sizes. It appears to us that´s a good way to transport the gorgeous proportions and the deep impression of this great design. The piece is distinguished by perfect combination of a hard hand-wrought iron frame (used only manual techniques of the time) and the delicate oversized hand-blown glass blossoms.
The chandelier is in good vintage condition, carfully cleaned & rewired.
The 14 (+2 for reserve) 2-layered glass tulips (white inside & pearl outside) show minimal signs of life, unvisible by using. These are 6" in diameter and 12" high. The iron surfaces show some remains of the original colour version ( black with quiet hand-gilt accents) and some corrosion. Therefore, the charming authentic overall impression is not disturbed. You can switch 0/7/14. The original height is 7 feet and the diameter 4,7 feet.
