About the Item
One of a beautiful pair mid-century design by Koch & Lowy for Peill & Putzler in the 1970s. This is an absolutely classic piece of design, featuring a smoked colored (colored) glass globe shade with a waved / ribbed moulded bubble form, casting a beautiful rippled light. This is the extra large version of the "wave" light measuring over 12" in diameter.
With its biomorphic, futuristic shape, which echoes that of the Space Age race of that era, the light looks great paired with any items made of acrylic or items with bold "Space Age" forms.
Newly re-wired, the light requires a single E27 (E26 for US) lightbulb (100 watt max.).
