One of Ten Peill & Putzler Large Biomorphic Clear Glass & Chrome Pendant Lights
About the Item
One of a set of ten (rare to find in such a quantity) beautiful mid-century designed hanging ceiling pendant lights by iconic German lighting manufacturer Peill & Putzler in the 1970s. This is an absolutely classic piece of design, featuring a clear glass globe shade with a waved or ribbed molded bubble form, casting a beautiful rippled light.
This is the extra large version of the "Futura" light (commonly referred to as the "Wave" light) measuring over 12" in diameter. With its biomorphic, futuristic shape, which echoes that of the Space Age race of that era, the light looks great paired with any items made of acrylic or items with bold "Space Age" forms.
Newly re-wired - each light requires a single E27 lightbulb (100 Watt max.)
