1940s Suspended Hoop Chandelier after Pietro Chiesa
About the Item
1940s Italian suspended hoop chandelier in the style of Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte.
Three brass tubes suspended from a single hub below a half sphere canopy support a 16 inch diameter round brass tube attached to which nine curved brass tulip stems are connected. The socket cup is a brass tulip bulb with a scalloped enameled aluminum collar. An eight inch clear glass concave disk acts as reflector to the standard Edison screw cap bulbs, shown here in mirror chrome gold.
