About the Item
1950’s Original Brass And Opal Globe Pendant Chandelier.
Brass and glass opal globe chandelier hand made in the Czech republic by the iconic Lustry Kamenicky Senon glassworks. The pendant is made with all the original brass components and original mouth blown opal glass balls. Original vintage opal glass has a soft colour that is rarely attained with contemporary opal glass which is often painted and not opal actual opal glass. The Czech republic has a rich international history of glass production championed by the iconic Lustry Kamenicky Senon glassworks. In exceptional original condition, the lamp is hung on 1m of brass chain with three core clear cable and we provide a brass ceiling hook. Longer chain and cable is available if required. All our lamps have been carefully restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. Listing is for one lamp, six available when published. The lamp is currently wired and fitted for UK and EU compliance. The lamp can be wired for compliance in the US or any global market.
Workshop Report:
We take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Each lamp comes completely wired.
