1960s Industrial large enamel ceiling pendant lamps/light shades – new old stock
1960s vintage Industrial large enamel ceiling pendant lamps/light shades – new old stock. These lamps are a mainstay of large ex Soviet factories and we came across four that have never been used. Featuring large scale enameled steel shades and cast aluminium tops showing the CCCP marking. The key feature of these lamps is their stunning original condition, we have four available and they are being sold singularly. These lamps are strong visual statements perfect for a hall, contemporary kitchen or living space. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Included: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of zinc coated chain for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black marl fabric covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. We select the best color/style of cable for each lamp but additional color are available for different projects. Our alternative cable color (in stock) are as shown in the images with numbered cables. If you wish to select a different cable color please state the color number in the comments at checkout. Additional special order color are available and we can also supply more than 2 metres of hanging cable/wire/chain etc as required.
Workshop report
Workshop report lighting: We take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install by a qualified electrician. All of our lamps are Class 1 and earthed. In addition where physically possible we go beyond the regulations and double insulate all electrical components and fit additional grommets and protective cable sheathing at any potential points of cable movement. Each lamp is delivered with installation instructions. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use.
