About the Item
1970’s Large Scale Nautical Ships Lamps – Pair.
Sadly we don’t know the manufacturer, the lamps are made from heavy cast aluminium with glass lamp covers and protective grills. The lamps have been cleaned, but we left the history and character. All electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: The lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of chain for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black silk covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. We can also supply more than 2 metres of hanging cable/wire/chain etc as required, please contact us separately to discuss. We are specialists in refurbishment of vintage lighting, please contact us with any questions regarding purchase or installation. The lamps are currently wired and fitted for UK and EU compliance. The lamps can be wired for compliance in the US or any global market.

We take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Each lamp comes completely wired.
