About the Item

Large 70s Murano Mazzega attributable one-light pendant light. Chrome and hand blown clear and milky white "Lattimo" glass lampshade. The bowl has an elaborate and very fascinating glass processing at its base typical of the period. See the photos. About: the so called white "lattimo" glass, is a special way of glassmaking and the term comes from the Italian word "latte", or milk. AV Mazzega was founded in 1946 by Angelo Vittorio. Over the years, Mazzega has worked with many international designers. Due to their design and quality, Mazzega's lights are popular among lovers and collectors, icons in the world of lighting. Size: total height with chain: 108 cm/ 42,5 in (easily shortable by request) height: 45 cm/ 17,7 in bowl diameter: 33 cm/ 13 in chromed glass holder diameter: 14 cm/ 5,50 in Weight: 2,6 kg All parts in order, the wiring and the standard E27 (US E26 compatible) bulb socket have been replaced. Signs of wear, compatible with the age, are present on the chain and on top of chrome glass holder, however not visible when the lamp is hung. Fully functional. Works 110-240 volts.
