1960s Mazzega attributable Space Age Pendant Lamp in Murano Hand-Blown Glass
About the Item
A rare charming 1960s large Mazzega one-light pendant lamp in hand-blown Murano art glass,
chrome structure, works 110-240 volts .
There is no trade mark on the lamp, however, the type of glass processing is attributable to the production of Mazzega glassworks. This amazing lamp features a chrome frame and three clear Murano heavy glass shades with yellow/orange marbled effects. The glass has a smooth surface, while the part below is rough, thanks to a hot application of minute fragments of glass, called "Graniglia" in Venetian, in a very special processing. See the photos.
