1970s Modernist Murano Glass Huge Cascade Chandelier by Mazzega
About the Item
A big white and brown Murano glass chandelier, designed and manufactured in the Seventies by Mazzega, features five different kinds of big Murano glass pendants, creating an amazing ambient light. The Murano glass elements are in very good condition, as is the chromed metal structure, because the chandelier came from an important lighting shop in Italy that went out of business; the chandelier had only been used in this shop. Mazzega was a renowned Murano glass company that was indeed active during the mid-20th century and produced a variety of stunning glass chandeliers. This Cascade chandelier typically features a tiered and layered design, where the Murano glass elements hang in a cascading manner, creating a dynamic and visually striking effect. The chandelier incorporates chrome for the structural elements, which was a popular choice during the mid-century period. This amazing fixture can be adapted to classical and modern furnishings.
