About the Item
An amazing clear and opalescent Murano glass chandelier designed and manufactured in Murano by Mazzega in the Seventies. The glasses are in perfect condition, and the gilded metal parts are also in very good condition overall; it's in working order. Mazzega, a renowned Murano glass company, was indeed active during the mid-20th century and produced a variety of stunning glass chandeliers. This Cascade chandelier features a tiered and layered design where the white semi-cylinder Murano glass elements hang in a cascading manner, creating a dynamic and visually striking effect. The chandelier incorporates brass for the structural elements. Gilded metal was a popular choice during the mid-century period. This amazing fixture can be adapted to both classical and modern furnishings.
