19th Century 10-Light Ormolu and Crystal Basket-Shaped Chandelier

About the Item

Monumental 10-light basket-shaped chandelier of gilt bronze and crystal, crafted in the late 19th century in France. Beautifully designed oversized prisms, rosette and slice-cut drops of polished crystal hang from scrolling ormolu branches. This crystal chandelier boasts an exquisite latticework basket highlighted with floral motif, circa 1880. Dimension: W 27.6 in, D 27.6in, H 37.4in. Dimension: L 70cm, P 70cm, H 95cm.
