19th Century Baltic Neoclassical Style Crystal and Brass Chandelier

About the Item

A neoclassic cut crystal chandelier, the three circular brass frames of differing dimensions are all hung with long cut crystals and almond shaped drops and chains. The bottom section features a spray of curved narrow brass rods which also support crystals and drops. The design of this type of Baltic/Russian chandelier is meant to represent a waterfall. The chandelier originally was lit with candles but now the candle holders are wired for electricity; 19th century Sweden/Russia.
