19th Century French Napoleon III Carved Bleached Oak Six-Light Chandelier

About the Item

Enhance a dining room, den, or grand entryway with this exquisite antique wooden chandelier. Crafted in France circa 1880, this elegant light fixture features a round design with six symmetrically spaced arms extending from a robust, intricately carved central stem. Each gracefully curled arm showcases meticulously hand-carved acanthus leaf detailing and has been rewired to US standards. The lights are adorned with decorative candle sleeve covers. The central stem is embellished with delicate floral motifs, culminating in an impressive, large cone-shaped finial at the base, completing its timeless elegance. The Napoleon III style chandelier is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich patinated bleached finish, in addition to wonderful and detailed carvings.
