About the Item

Decorate your dining room or den with this exquisite carved antique wooden chandelier, crafted in France circa 1880. This elegant light fixture features a beautifully rounded design with five evenly spaced arms extending from an intricately carved central stem. Each gracefully curled arm is adorned with scrolling acanthus leaf details, adding a touch of timeless sophistication. Rewired to meet US standards, each arm holds a light dressed with a decorative candle sleeve cover, evoking the charm of classic candlelit chandeliers. The central stem is a work of art in itself, boasting finely turned craftsmanship embellished with delicate leaf motifs. At the base, a large, decorative cone-shaped finial adds an extra layer of refinement to the design. This chandelier made of wood seamlessly blends ornate details with rustic appeal, making it the perfect statement piece for traditional or vintage-inspired interiors. The chandelier is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns the original rich patinated paint finish in a wonderful pastel color palette. Measures: 24" diameter 31" height.
