19th Century, Italian, Tuscan Seven Light Chandelier Blue Glass Gilded Details
About the Item
A charming Italian six armed chandelier from Tuscany, Lucca dating back to the late 19th century. In good condition, hand-realized with a very unusual structure, very original and unique. Features a gilded repoussé brass and iron crowns and a lovely turquoise blue opaline glass bowl topped by a golden glass egg reflecting light.
The chandelier is connected to the higher part thanks to three chains and has a clear glass finials in the lower part.
The curved arms ending with giltwood bobeches are equipped with six small bulbs (E14) plus a central unit inside the opaline glass for up to 350 Watts.
This is a very striking Italian piece that would make a statement in any room.
New Italian standard wiring. Ready to be hung.
