A French 19th-20th century Baroque Revival style wrought iron and four-color vitreaux stained glass single-light hall lantern, the rounded four stained glass panels with red, green, opaque and burgundy glass work, the scrolled wrought iron body designed with acanthus leaves, flowers and laced details, Paris, circa 1900.

Exquisitely hand-crafted in the 19th century (possibly late 18th century), even though San Miguel was the first town in present day Mexico to win independence from the Spanish Empire in the early nineteenth century, this lantern displays strong European old world influence.
