About the Item

Chic architectural pendant chandelier(s) originally from the landmark SUNY Albany campus, which was designed in 1962 by Edward Durell Stone. The fixture features a domed disk shade, having a black top with a white interior bottom. The metal shade rests on a stepped cone form white plastic interior diffuser shade. The fixture is suspended from a white rubberized cord. Probably made in the USA, possibly by Lightolier, or MOE Lighting, in the Danish style after Kalff, or Poulsen, unsigned. We are fortunate to have 19 of these available, perfect if you are looking to do a series light installation. We have priced, and are offering these individually, but would love to see them go in large sets. Please check availability prior to placing an order. All are in good working condition, all show some cosmetic wear to their finish, specifically the white cord may show some minor discoloration, and the back metal finish may show some wear, normal and consistent with age. All come with a long length of white cord, as they are originally suspended from a high ceiling, canopies not included. Currently wired for US application, the fixtures accept a standard size screw in bulb.
