Antique Black Forest Ceiling Lamp with Deer Antlers Item e7367 A large antique antler chandelier made from assembled deer antlers. The lamp comes with 3 spouts fitted with vintage glass shades. Made in Germany ca. 1920, wiring renewed, in working order. Antler furniture have been one of the popular novelties of the great exhibition of the industries of all nations in London in 1851. A new lifestlye trend was born and the ambitious European middle-class generated a fabulous upswing. One of the first designers to be mentioned is the German horn carver and furniture manufacturer H. F. C. Rampendahl who gained enthusiastic successes on several world exhibitions with his antler furniture. In the aftermath one began to manufacture antler furniture in series. artfour is an owner-managed trading company that sells Black Forest wood carvings, antler furniture and an impressive variety of unique decorative items. Our antiques are on display in a century-old barn in southern Germany, which we renovated ourselves. Antiques have been our passion since the 1980s.
