Antique Brass Wall Light with Holophane Glass Shade An original Holophane glass wall light retaining its original brass wall bracket. The brass metalwork has been left in its original condition, the brass gallery retains the original makers stamp. These 2 part type glass pendants retain their original Holophane makers mark.The crisp clean lines create a beautiful glow when illuminated. Holophane glass was invented in the 1890s and was made in many shapes, sizes and patterns to provide specific types of illumination, these particular ones were used in a church.
