About the Item
Antique Wall Light with Holophane Glass Shade
An original Holophane glass wall light with original wall bracket. The metalwork has been left in its original condition. These stiletto type glass pendants retain their original Holophane makers mark. The crisp clean lines create a beautiful glow when illuminated. Holophane glass was invented in the 1890s and was made in many shapes, sizes and patterns to provide specific types of illumination, these particular ones were used in a church.

Workshop Report: Overall good, some mottling in places to the metal brackets. The light has been rewired with new CE Certified B22 (bayonet) bulb holder and flex ready to hardwire into the wall.
