A STUNNING RUN OF LARGE SCHOOLHOUSE OPALINE PENDANTS SOLD INDIVIDUALLY Reclaimed from a social club in the North East of England. Beautiful shaped opaline glass with original aged brass galleries completely original and finished with beeswax for protection. English made circa 1920 by (SUNCO) Sun Electric Company Limited. These light work pretty much anywhere with any style of interior and give off a wonderful diffused light that emits in all directions, great for areas that require lots of light when paired with higher strength bulbs. THE TERM SCHOOLHOUSE PENDANTS Vintage opaline schoolhouse pendant lights are a type of lighting fixture that was commonly used in schools and other public buildings during the early to mid-20th century. These lights typically feature a simple yet elegant design, with a white or off-white opaline glass shade that provides a soft, diffused light. The shades are usually globe-shaped, with a flared or tapered base that attaches to a metal fixture or chain. The metal fixtures may be finished in a range of colors, from simple black or white to more decorative finishes like brass, bronze and copper. Vintage opaline schoolhouse pendant lights are popular among those seeking to create a retro or vintage-inspired look in their homes or commercial spaces. They are often used in kitchens, dining rooms, and other areas where a soft, warm light is desired, and their simple yet classic design makes them a versatile addition to any interior décor. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired & tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. . Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
